Course detailsWhy we train on gyroplanes
Gyroplanes (or gyrocopters) are a quiet revolution in personal aviation. Like microlights, they are small two-seat flying machines — but their rotor design gives them a level of stability and forgiveness unmatched in light aviation.
- Inherently stable, even in gusty conditions
- Cannot stall, by design
- Lands in a space the size of a tennis court
- Factory-built and certified — not kit aircraft
A stunning way to see the Greek countryside
Because gyroplanes are inherently stable, they can fly safely far lower than conventional aircraft — typically 1,000 feet above the ground. Add the unobstructed view from an open cockpit, and you get a remarkably smooth yet exhilarating flight, with scenery you feel you could reach out and touch.

The world's first flying car is a gyroplane
PAL-V was the first flying car to be approved for European roads — and is now the first to agree a full certification basis with EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. That achievement owes much to one design decision: the PAL-V is built as a gyroplane, so it inherits the same safety characteristics you’ll experience on your own flight with us.
Here’s the PAL-V CEO explaining it in his own words.
